Thank you for your continued support.
Sacred Wandering was established as a nonprofit “church” entity in 2005 under the name Christ our Light, which was later changed to Sacred Wandering in 2010 (Articles of Inchurch for Sacred Wandering).
Section 508(c) of the Internal Revenue Code provides that churches are not required to apply for recognition of Section 501(c)(3) status in order to be exempt from federal taxation or to receive tax-deductible contributions. Churches are automatically exempt from Federal income tax, and contributions to churches are fully deductible by donors under section 170 – IRS Response Letter Regarding Donations. For more information on Church Tax Exemptions, please read: Tax Guide for Churches & Religious Organizations – 2015 – IRS Publication 1828.
