How Can You Make a Difference?
All services in our organization are protected under the Sacred Wandering, Inc. umbrella. Sacred Wandering is organized through the IRS as a not-for-profit “Church” entity. According to the current U.S. Tax Code, “a church, its integrated auxiliaries, and conventions and associations of the church are excluded from taxation.”1 Section 508(c) of the Internal Revenue Code provides that churches are not required to apply for recognition of Section 501(c)(3) status to be exempt from federal taxation or to receive tax-deductible contributions. Churches are automatically exempt from Federal income tax, and contributions to churches are deductible by donors under section 170. “By establishing its exemption, potential contributors are assured by the [Internal Revenue] Service that contributions will be deductible.”2

What Else can I do?
Prayers
Perhaps the most overlooked but desperately needed is prayers. Our programs would not exist if it weren’t for the unending prayers of our patrons and parishioners.
Thank you for thinking of us and for keeping us in your heart. We ask the +Creator to hear your prayers and bring them to fruition!
Real Estate Donation
Generally considered an in-kind donation, donating real estate can provide years of financial security for our programs and ministries.
We are looking for old schools, hotels, or even farms we can convert to a fully functional and comprehensive one-stop shop for healing needs.
In-Kind Donation
In-kind donations are tangible goods like candles, computers, books, cars, furniture, and church or office supplies. Goods may also be intangible, such as advertising, legal services, or other needed Services. Goods may be used, Surplus, or new.
In-kind values are determined by “Fair Market Value” and are always corroborated by the person donating.
